Local culture & people (6/10):The local people are friendly and charming. Bergen is one of the oldest cities in Norway and youll find many old and beautiful buildings, with cosy narrow streets packed with small wooden houses. A beautiful town. Many good museums.
Activities & Attractions (6/10):Visit bryggen, the bay area in Bergen. On bryggen youll find old buildings from the 16th and 17th century, souvenier shops, the local fish marked, good resturants and sidewalk cafes. Visit the mountains that surrond the city, two of them has a cable car to the top; great view. The house of composer Edvard Grieg is also a beautiful spot in Bergen.
Nightlife (8/10):If you forget about the expensive liqure, nightlife in Bergen is very good. Its a student town with lots of good bars and nightclub, filled with people most nights of the week. Youll also find some good places for live music.
Summary:Very nice town, lots of things to see and do. Beautiful at day, fun at night, but beware; expensive. If your in Norway I would recommend visitin Bergen.
