Hotels & accommodation (8/10):Was suprised to find that budget accomodationis is easy in Nice. Lots of cheap hotels and hostels. Visited Nice at the peak of the tourist season, and had no problem finding a free room. For $30 i got a two bed room with shower and toilet. If you got cash, there is plenty of luxury hotels of course.
Places to eat (8/10): The city is packed with resturants serving amzaing french food. Beeing close to the Italian border, excellent italian cousine is also easy to find.
Beach (5/10):The beach in Nice is made of fairly big, round, rocks. No sand. (You'll find a good sandy beach a little outside of town) Every thing is very nice and clean, both the beach and the water, and the water is warm.
Shopping (8/10):Youll find pretty much what you need. If youre rich, theres a lot of fancy european fashion stores. Visit the marked in old town!
Local culture & people (8/10):.The french are much more friendly then the reputation says. Youll find a nice mix of old and traditional french and european culture. Old town got some beautiful architechture.
Activites & Attractions (9/10):Beach, shopping, eating and drinking, wonderful picturesque villages close to nice, sports. Something for everyone!
Nightlife (10/10):World class. Nice is the perfect city for nightlife.
Summary:One of my favorite cities. Good climate, nice beach, great food, great shopping, amazing nightlife. You wont regret visiting Nice.
