Hotels & accommodation (6/10):A pretty good selection from cheap backpacker places to luxurie hotels. A peak season there might be a problem finding something, so book in advance.
Places to eat (7/10): Lots og great vieatnamese food, and cheap. You can even find some good pizza in Hoi An, if you crave for some international food.
Beach (9/10):Beautiful white sand. Clean beach and clean waters. Lots of space. On one the best beaches in Vietnam, situated a 5 minutes bike ride from Hoi An town.
Shopping (7/10):Big marked with all kind of stuff, from fake Gucci to snakeblood. Very cheap tailors (half the price of Thailands tailors). Exciting and different shopping!
Local culture & people (8/10):The town is beautiful. Old frence colonial style. One of very few sout east asian cities that looks good from an architectural point of view.The local people are all friendly and smiling.
Activities & Attractions (6/10):Just hanging round on the beach, snorkeling/diving, or walking the cosy streets. Visit a nearby village. Great for relaxation.
Nightlife (6/10):Well its not Ibiza, but youll find a pretty good selection of bars.
Summary:Great relaxed atmosphere, amazing beach, friendly loclas, abd a beautiful town. Hoi An is highly recommended.
